Andy Bell is the Assistant Principal at Gem Prep: Pocatello (GPP). He works closely with the school’s head principal while strengthening student success specifically in the secondary grade levels.
Andy has been in education for the last 13 years. He began his education career serving as the Community Education Assistant and then Coordinator for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District #25. Andrew also enjoyed the time he spent in the classroom teaching at the elementary and later middle school levels. While teaching, he was a Scripps National Spelling Bee coach. Throughout his career, Andy has consistently held exceedingly high expectations for his students, knowing that all students can succeed with hard work and dedication. He will do whatever it takes to help students be successful. He earned an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Idaho State University and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education.
Andy loves spending time with his wife, Morgan, and his four children, Justus, Charlotte, Nolan, and Nora. For recreation, he loves any type of sport, music, fishing, eating, reading, and dancing around the living room with his kids.
