She and her husband Robert (high school sweethearts) have been together for 27 years this and married for 18 years in July. They have two biological children, a girl and a boy, and three brothers they are currently in the process of adopting.
She was a cosmetologist for 20 years and had a salon in her home for most of that time. She obtained her elementary degree in Arizona, and the last two years, however, she has been a preschool teacher at Grace Lutheran School.
