Hello Gem Prep Families,
On behalf of GPN, we hope you had a wonderful spring break! We are excited to have our students back and eager to learn. We want to thank everyone who supported our Scholastic Book Fair last month. We couldn’t have done it without our dedicated volunteers and supportive staff. We have now entered into the 4th quarter of the school year and will begin new electives for our students to flourish in. Below are some instructions on how to access iReady and Dreambox on your iPad as well as some exciting upcoming events!

PowerSchool Re-enrollment Registration
REMINDER: Please complete the online PowerSchool registration form if you haven’t already. Yes, if your student is returning next year you still need to complete this registration as there are new questions that need to be answered. Most of your information will already be on the form if it was submitted at the beginning of the school year.
If you have not already submitted copies of your child’s certified birth certificate (no hospital records, please), copy of immunizations and proof of residency (current utility bill or other documentation printed with your name and physical address) please do so. You can contact our school operations manager, Brenda Piña at [email protected] for any questions or concerns.

Attendance Policy Reminder
Gem Prep: Nampa is committed to fostering the academic and personal growth of its students; therefore, every child in the School is required to attend school regularly in order to make a successful transition to the next grade level and to graduate with a high school diploma. Each day your child is absent from school they miss out on important classroom instruction. We realize that many absences are due to illness and are understanding of these situations, however, we must also ensure that students are in class as often as possible to help create academic success for your child this year and for all years to come.
Below contains the attendance plan in place as per the school’s parent handbook which can also be found on Gem Prep: Nampa’s webpage. Gem Prep: Nampa students are required to be in attendance at school at least ninety percent (90%) of the time that school is in session during each school term.
