How the Online School Works

Gem Prep: Online is a free college prep virtual school, with students attending school from home or from one of our Learning Societies. Students in our online school access the same curriculum as our brick and mortar schools, and are supported by certified teachers.

STRONG FOUNDATION K-5
Our program is designed to prepare students by building a strong academic foundation in the elementary grades.

ACCELERATED LEARNING 6-8
As students progress to middle school, they enroll in courses that will position them for success in high school courses.

EARLY COLLEGE IN HIGH SCHOOL 9-12
In addition to their Gem Prep courses, high school students take college level courses in pursuit of their associates degree by the time they graduate high school.

DEVELOPING SELF-MOTIVATED & LIFE-LONG LEARNERS!

  • Explore their interests; key to encouraging them to find their own “why” for education and college;
  • Develop academic & life competencies that set them up for success in college & future careers;
