Gem Prep: Online is Idaho’s premier virtual school with academic results that rank far above all other virtual schools. GPO’s program provides families with the ability for their students to grow from kindergarten through highschool and complete a 2-year college degree upon graduation (tuition-free).

We provide scholars with rigorous preparation and planning to assist them in meeting the expectation of college success. And, we work together with parents to accelerate the path to college and prepare kids for great futures.

We have four resource centers across the state to serve our families.

All students take four core classes and have access to a variety of electives like PE, health, art, music, keyboarding, etc.

Students receive supplemental support funds each semester for participation in extra-academic activities like field trips, clubs, sports, music lessons, and more. (These funds are in addition to the standard enrollment items students receive, such as live virtual lessons with certified teachers, technology items, access to 24/7 virtual library, tutoring support, college and career guidance, etc.)

Our students who live near one of our brick-and-mortar schools also enjoy taking part in some traditional school activities. They are welcome to visit our campuses and participate in things like school pictures, extra-curricular activities and clubs, use the school library, attend field trips (both virtual and physical), etc.

We are accredited through AdvancEd since 2004.
