Please Meet-Marie Johnson

Born and raised in Texas, Marie is the seventh of ten siblings. Although proud to be a Texan, only one sibling remains in Texas and the rest are all spread out from Washington to Maryland, down to Mexico. Growing up, Marie was involved in sports, and spend most of her summers outside around the water, taking a trip each summer to Lake Powell, (Arizona/Utah)to spend a time boating with family. Before graduating from BYU with a Bachelor’s in Health Promotion in 2000, Marie was able to do some traveling, spending a few months in Israel, Egypt, and Jordan.

Marie loves to spend time with her family. She and her husband Marc (from Colorado) have enjoyed living in Utah, Texas, and Idaho. Their six children are active in various activities that keep her out of trouble. A few of her favorite things include spending time with family, reading a good book, baking, playing and or watching sports, swimming/boating, working in the yard and traveling. Marie is looking forward to a great year working with the students at Gem Prep: Pocatello.
