- Students must be enrolled full-time in Gem Prep.
- All applicants must be full time residents of the State of Idaho.
- The number of openings offered to students will be established by the Board of Directors prior to the beginning of the application period each year.
- Returning students and their siblings will be accommodated provided returning students submit re-enrollment requests, and siblings submit completed applications, by the published application closing date.
- If more students request admission than can be accommodated, a lottery will be conducted.
- Should a lottery become necessary, all students whose re-enrollment requests or completed applications received by the close of the application period will be entered into a lottery.
- Applicants in the lottery who are not admitted will be placed on a waiting list in the order their names are drawn.
- All students who apply after the close of the application period will be placed on the waiting list based on the date and time the completed application is received.
- Siblings of newly accepted students who are seeking enrollment will be accommodated provided completed applications were received by the published application closing date.
- All applicants will be notified by email regarding acceptance.
- As a public school, Gem Prep provides a free and appropriate education to all students, including students with disabilities.
